"Over the years, American LaFrance has worked with a number of skilled craftsmen to restore units for the museum. Have you tried the American LeFrance Museum in Cleveland, NC? Their web site at lists two fire apparatus restorers which people can contact in regards to restoration of vehicles. I am not sure but they may also contain the holdings of SPAAMFAA (but please don't hold me to that!.maybe someone else can confirm or deny this)Įmail: that you are a fire department, you may know about the following information but I thought I'd post it: The L&RC also contains collections from several other organizations. You might want to give Kim Miller the librarian a call and see if the L&RC may have something you need. I do not know the extent of fire apapratus information but it has a very extensive collection of antique car literature and information. There is also the AACA Library and Research Center in Hershey, Pa.
